Grace and August Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Grace and August, we want you to love what you receive. Please read our returns and exchanges policy below, which varies depending on the product type.

Custom Printed T-Shirts (Print on Demand)

Each of our t-shirts is custom printed to order just for you. Because of this, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size, or if you wish you’d chosen a different design.

  • Please choose carefully: We cannot accept returns or exchanges for custom-printed t-shirts unless the item is damaged, defective, or you received the wrong product.

  • For sizing help, please refer to our size guide before ordering.

  • If your t-shirt arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please email us within 48 hours of delivery at info@graceandaugust.com with your order number and a clear photo of the issue.

Garden & Home Décor, Watering Cans, and Aprons

For our Garden and Home Décor items, Watering Cans, and Aprons, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original condition, and original packaging.

  • How to request a return:
    Email info@graceandaugust.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number, reason for return, and a photo showing the item in its original condition.

  • Return shipping:
    Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend tracked shipping, as we cannot be responsible for parcels lost in transit.

  • Refunds:
    Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund (excluding original shipping fees and a $3 restocking fee per item).

  • Damaged or defective:
    If your item arrives damaged or defective, please email us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo of the issue so we can resolve it quickly.

International Orders

At this time, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind on custom-printed t-shirts or for any products shipped outside New Zealand/the USA, unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
